Aubrey Ngoma Nearing Return To Full Training
Cape Town City’s Aubrey Ngoma is nearing a return to full training with the Mother City-based club, with indications that the player could return to action before the end of the year.
The 28-year-old suffered an injury to his knee in June this year, where he thereafter underwent surgery that consequently kept him on the sidelines for almost three months.
Now, a source within the Cape Town-based club has confirmed that Ngoma is nearing a return to full training with Head Coach Benni McCarthy’s side.
“He's (Ngoma) still in the process called 'return to training program' where they get him conditioned to start full training,” the source revealed to the Siya crew.
In other news, Teko Modise has returned to full training following troubles with his groin area, with the club confirming that The General could be available for selection for this weekend’s Cape Town derby.
City will visit the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday, September 30, where they will lock horns with hosts, Ajax Cape Town in the first Absa Premiership Cape Town derby of the season.
