Kaizer Chiefs are still holding out hopes for one of their transfer targets, while his exit from Mamelodi Sundowns seems to be drawing closer.
It was reported in last week’s edition of Soccer Laduma that SuperSport United are keen on bringing their former Liberian winger, Anthony Laffor back to the club.

Unconfirmed reports have revealed that Laffor is currently contracted to Sundowns until June 30, 2019.
However, Siya sources have since revealed that it is highly possible that the 33-year-old could be parting ways with Sundowns in the coming weeks, with the source adding that Chiefs still want to bring the player to Naturena, although the decision about his immediate future may be up to the player.
Indications are that a move to either SuperSport or Amakhosi could materialise in the coming weeks, with it being unlikely that the player will remain at the Chloorkop-based club.
Laffor made just 12 appearances for Sundowns in the 2017/18 campaign, falling out of favour at the club after suffering from an injury.
However, it seems that his stay with the Brazilians may be coming to an end soon and it remains to be seen where he will be playing his football next season.
