The Absa Premiership’s newest addition, AmaZulu, have completed another signing ahead of the new season, snapping up Bafana Bafana international, Boalefa Pule.
It was reported by the Siya crew earlier today that Usuthu were eager to try and land the 27-year-old’s signature in their bid to stay in the division, and it has now been confirmed that he will be in Durban this coming campaign.
Pule has battled for game time in recent years as he played second fiddle to the likes of Ronwen Williams at SuperSport United and Moeneeb Josephs and Bidvest Wits, however that could all change under Joey Antipas in KwaZulu Natal.
Micky Paiva, the player’s agent, has confirmed that Pule – who showed his worth on Bafana duty in Cosafa and Chan games recently – has joined Usuthu on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Paiva told the crew, "Yes, Boalefa has joined AmaZulu on loan for the season from SuperSport. They've also got an option to make it a permanent deal at the end of the loan."
Pule’s Matsatsantsa teammate, Michael Morton, is also a target for AmaZulu as they beef up their squad for the new season.
