Big Three Keep An Eye On Goalkeeper!
All Three Of South Africa's Big Clubs Are Keeping An Eye On Reyaad Pieterse
A SuperSport United goalkeeper is currently not short of interested suitors in the Premier Soccer League after sources indicated that the player is being linked with an exit from the club.
As previously revealed by the Siya crew, there have been talks of Reyaad Pieterse's exit from Matsatsantsa, with Kaizer Chiefs believed to be hot on the chase for the player.
However, according to sources, Amakhosi are going to face tough competition should they want to approach SuperSport for the player, as both Sundowns and Pirates have been tracking Pieterse to add to their books in the new season.
Another team believed to also be monitoring the player is Cape Town City, with the Mother City-based club eager to bolster their goalkeeping department as Shuaib Walters’ contract comes to an end
SuperSport are currently struggling at the bottom of the Absa Premiership league standings, with a relegation play-off spot now an increasing possibility as they continue to drop points.
As things stand, SuperSport could lose one of their key players in Pieterse and with the 26-year-old having one more year left on his contract at the club, the Tshwane giants may want to cash in on him before he is able to leave on a free at the end of his deal.
