Having returned from Sweden where he last turned out for Örebro Sportklubb, Nkili joined Stellenbosch last season for their NFD campaign.

Prior to returning to Mzansi, the defender had been playing in Sweden since 2010, having first went there to join IFK Hässleholm from the Stars of Africa Football Academy.

“Stellenbosch captain Ayanda Nkili has been monitored by Ajax Cape Town. He is already in Cape Town and is due to start training with the team this week,” confirmed the source.

The Siya crew has gathered that the 27-year-old centre-back has earned himself a few other suitors who would be keen to add him to their respective rosters.
