Lebusa Hot Property! Chiefs And Sundowns Keen
Ajax Cape Town Could Lose One Of Their Key Players In The Upcoming July/August Transfer Window
Ajax Cape Town could lose yet another defender to either Kaizer Chiefs or Mamelodi Sundowns in the upcoming transfer window.
The Urban Warriors are still fighting to maintain their PSL status for the new season, with Saturday set to be the deciding factor in whether the team will be going through to the relegation play-offs.
However, it seems that Ajax will soon have to face the possibilities of losing some of their key players in the upcoming July/August transfer window, with sources revealing that both Sundowns and Chiefs have intensified their interest to sign their team’s captain, Mosa Lebusa.
Lebusa has been on Sundowns radar for quite some time now, with the Siya crew also previously reporting on Amakhosi’s previous desire of proposing a swap deal for the player’s services.
Now, both clubs have revisited their interest in the 25-year-old left back as they look to bolster their sides for the new 2018/19 campaign.
However, it remains to be seen whether either Chiefs or Sundowns will approach the club for Lebusa and if Ajax will be tempted to sell.
As previously reported by the crew, Ajax were looking for around R5 million before letting the player go and it is still uncertain what kind of price-tag they will put on the player’s services after it is determined whether they will be playing in South Africa’s top flight next season.
