Ace Ncobo To Be Charged
Ace Ncobo To Be Hauled Before SAFA DC
The South African Football Association (SAFA) has confirmed that it will be charging former referee Ace Ncobo for bringing the Association and football into disrepute.
In recent weeks, Ncobo has been speaking openly about his lack of trust in the leadership of SAFA. The former PSL general manager also recently called on FIFA to place SAFA under administration for allegedly violating its electoral codes.
Ncobo is challenging incumbent Danny Jordaan for SAFA presidency in the next elections. SAFA has issued a statement confirming that Ncobo will be hauled before the disciplinary committee at the association.
“The South African Football Association (SAFA) will be charging former referee Ace Ncobo for bringing the Association and football into disrepute,” confirmed SAFA in a statement.
“We have preferred charges against him and he will soon be hauled before the SAFA Disciplinary Committee to answer charges of misconduct,” said SAFA CEO Dennis Mumble.
“The SAFA legal team is busy preparing the charge sheet which will be presented to Ncobo,” confirmed SAFA.
