Abia Nale, who has spent weeks training with Black Leopards, is unlikely to be signed by the club, according to sources.
The former Kaizer Chiefs and Platinum Stars midfielder is said to have stopped training with the Limpopo outfit without having signed a deal.
“Abia Nale has stopped training with Black Leopards. The way things look at the moment, he is unlikely to sign a contract with the club,” said the source.
Since coming through the junior ranks as a player for Orlando Pirates, Nale went on to play for Chiefs, Ajax, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Maritzburg United and Dikwena in his professional career.
Meanwhile, Leopards are preparing for their next match with a new coach in charge, following the appointment of Dylan Kerr as the man to replace Joel Masutha in their technical team.
Following the postponement of their match against Mamelodi Sundowns, which was to be played on November 28, Leopards have Bidvest Wits next on their agenda with a match scheduled for the Thohoyandou Stadium on December 01.
