The Siya crew has been informed that another local coach has been added to the list of possible candidates to take over the vacant Marumo Gallants head coach position.
Last week, the Polokwane-based outfit confirmed the dismissal of head coach Sebastien Migne, following a disciplinary hearing.
The Siya crew subsequently reported that the club is believed to be chasing a local coach as his replacement, with Dan Malesela and Duncan Lechesa the front runners for the job.
However, the latest news reaching the crew is that Gallants have enquired about the availability of former Bafana Bafana assistant coach Morena Ramoreboli.
Ramoreboli is currently on the books of Botswana Premier League outfit Jwaneng Galaxy, who he joined shortly after a successful COSAFA Cup with Bafana in August.
According to Siya sources, Gallants have made contact with the coach about possibly joining the club.
The Siya crew reached out to the coach’s camp for official comment, although there had been no response at the time of publishing.
The Siya crew reported in July that the former Maluti FET and Royal Eagles head coach had been keen on a coaching stint in the PSL, although it now remains to be seen if he will get the vacant Gallants post ahead of Malesela and Lechesa, in the coming days.
