A former Orlando Pirates youngster could be set to get his breakthrough in professional football after struggling in his career in recent months.
Having come through the ranks at Pirates in their youth set-up, and with a lot expected from him at the club after featuring for the Buccaneers in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge, defender Darnell Job parted ways with the Soweto giants in 2018.
A move to Polokwane City after the right-back’s Pirates exit also didn’t do much to help his cause, as he didn’t proceed further than the MDC side at the Limpopo outfit.
The former South African Under-17 team player had been invited for trials in Portugal towards the end of 2018, though that also failed to yield the desired results.
It has been confirmed to the Siya crew from sources in the know that Job has surfaced at Jomo Cosmos for training, with a possibility to be signed by the legendary Ezenkosi boss and coach Jomo Sono for the remainder of the season, and in preparation of the next campaign.
