Bumper R12m Offer Made For Bafana Striker

A Multi-Million Rand Bid Has Been Made For Dino Ndlovu

Chinese outfit, Hangzhou Greentown, appear to be deadly serious in their attempts to land Bafana Bafana striker, Dino Ndlovu, submitting an improved bid to Qarabag this week.

The Siya crew previously reported that the club were keen on tempting the striker to Asia with a big-money move, and had tabled an offer believed to be worth around R8m to his side in Azerbaijan.

Siya sources had suggested that Qarabag were looking to get around €1m (around R16m) in return for Ndlovu’s signature, and the latest news reaching the crew is that Greentown have looked to test the water further by tabling an offer believed to be worth around €750,000 (over R12m).

Ndlovu – who was honoured by Qarabag club’s fanbase for his goal against FC Copenhagen recently – has scored 24 goals in his season and a half with the Azerbaijani giants, helping them to a league and cup double and playing a vital role in their first ever UEFA Champions League group stage qualification.

It remains to be seen whether Qarabag will be prepared to accept the offer, but having paid just €350,000 for Ndlovu when they bought him from Anorthosis in Cyprus, the idea of doubling their money could be too hard to resist.

a Much better offer than the first one. Will playing in the Chinese Second League benefit his soccer, meaning after say 2 years he can go on to bigger & better things? Money is important, but what is his longer term strategy? He's better than your minor leaugue players.
