A Mamelodi Sundowns winger is currently waiting to hear a decision about his immediate future.
Keletso Makgalwa who is currently on loan at Maritzburg United from Sundowns is believed to have fallen down the pecking order at the club.
According to Siya sources, the 22-year-old’s future is currently up in the air, with the Team Of Choice believed to be looking to come to an agreement with the player about possibly releasing him from their books.
The winger was set to see out a season-long loan stay at the KwaZulu Natal-based club, which means that he was only set to return to Sundowns at the end of the current 2018/19 season.
However, it seems that he could be making his return to the Chloorkop-based club much sooner.
Although, should Makgalwa be released from Maritzburg, indications are that the player will not be able to play football until next season, as he is ineligible for registration outside of the transfer window.
According to Siya sources, the player's camp is still in negotiations with Maritzburg and a final decision is yet to be made.
Head Coach Eric Tinkler is believed to be making several changes to his current squad, with Maritzburg looking to release a few players form their books, which includes Makgalwa.
Now, it remains to be seen what will come of Makgalwa’s immediate future, although it seems that the player’s camp and the club will need to possibly come to a financial agreement before he is released.
