In just under four weeks, the July/August transfer window will officially open, with escalating talk of deals that could be taking place.
As reported yesterday by the Siya crew, Ayanda Patosi has made his return to Cape Town City, this after Iranian giants, Esteghlal, did not take up the option to secure the player’s services on a permanent basis.
However, sources have revealed that there is interest in the player elsewhere. Undisclosed clubs in Turkey, Belgium, Saud Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar are all believed to be tracking the player following his great run of form while on loan in Iran.
Elsewhere, sources have revealed that a swap deal could be on the cards for Orlando Pirates and Bidvest, with Gabadinho Mhango, Paseka Mako and Kudakwashe Mahachi’s name being thrown in to the mix.
Highlands Park is also set to make an announcement about a new signing, with Thela Ngobeni close to concluding a deal with the Lions of the North.
Rheece Evans will be joining Stellenbosch for their pre-season camp, with Steve Barker set to assess the player and make a decision thereafter.
Mamelodi Sundowns exercised the added two-year option on Lucky Mohomi’s deal while Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United show interest in the player.
Siphesihle Ndlovu no longer wants to join Sundowns, with the player now being linked to Orlando Pirates.
