A former Mamelodi Sundowns player is still looking to find a new club for the 2018/19 campaign.
Mzikayise Mashaba parted ways with Sundowns in October last year, after the club terminated the player’s deal before the expiry date on June 30 this year.

Subsequently, it took a few weeks for the player to receive his clearance after the two parties had to agree on a settlement figure.
However, Mashaba, who recently nursed a long-term injury, is still finding it challenging finding a new football club, having recently undergone a trial stint with Kaizer Chiefs, although the club opted against offering the player a deal.
Reports have also emerged revealing that the player has attracted some interest from Highlands Park, although the club has not confirmed anything with Owen da Gama’s side recently completing the signing of former Ajax Cape Town striker, Tendai Ndoro.
However, Mashaba is not the only player that is experiencing challenges in finding a new football home. As reported recently by the Siya crew, Tsepo Masilela is still clubless after parting ways with Chiefs, while the likes of Thato Mokeke and Travis Graham are both yet to land professional deals in the 2018/19 campaign.
