A former Mamelodi Sundowns is edging closer to his return to action in the Premier Soccer League.
Masandawana parted ways with Mzikaysie Mashaba in October last year, prior to the ending of his contract on June, 30.
However, it was subsequently reported that Sundowns and the player were in a money dispute over Mashaba’s remaining months of his contract.
Siya sources have since revealed that the player has received his clearance from the Brazilians, with his camp currently assessing his options on where his next football destination will be.
Mashaba has been on the mend from a foot injury and indications are that the player is looking to get back to full fitness.
The 29-year-old has in the past been linked to Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, however, it remains to be seen where his next destination will be.
