There is talk in the local football fraternity that one of the South African youth coaches is being linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, should Stuart Baxter return to Kaizer Chiefs.
There have been on-going talks, with a possible return to Naturena for Baxter, with Amakhosi believed to be keen on bringing the Englishman back to the club as their head coach.
Now, according to the latest information reaching the Siya sources, there has been talk of Chiefs potentially assessing Bafana’s U17 head coach, Molefi Ntseki, as a possible addition to their technical team, should Baxter come on board.
However, the Siya crew contacted the coach, who revealed that he is unaware of any interest from Chiefs at this point in time.
“I have heard nothing. I am going into camp with the U17’s and if there was interest, there is a process to follow. I am contracted to SAFA and, if anyone was interested in me, they would have to engage with SAFA.
“Look, it’s normal in football for clubs to be interested in you if you are in a job elsewhere. It happens in football. It happened just before the World Cup with Spain and the coach lost the opportunity of going to the World Cup,” Ntseki told the Siya crew.
“Sometimes you don’t know that a club wants you, but if you are doing well and a club believes that you can add value, they will be interested. It’s normal in football,” he added.
