Orlando Pirates' defensive duo of Thabo Matlaba and Rooi Mahamutsa have been ruled out of the Carling Black Label Cup this weekend.

It was confirmed on the Buccaneers' official Twitter account today that the pair would not be fit to play against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday as they nurse their respective injuries.

Meanwhile, in a press release it was also confirmed that it would be Patrick Phungwayo and Tshepo Gumede who will be coming in to replace the two defenders in Eric Tinkler's starting XI.

Also, in better news for Bucs, Oupa Manyisa was cleared to play in the game after picking up a niggling injury in the CAF Confederation Cup win over CS Sfaxien over the weekend.
