Kaizer Chiefs’ Carling Black Label Cup starting XI for their clash against Orlando Pirates on Saturday, August 1, looks to be stable ahead of the announcement of the audited votes expected later today.

The last change in the Amakhosi’s CBL Cup starting line-up was when George Maluleka replaced Willard Katsande after the 26-year-old South African received the 50 000 Booster Votes.

Since then there has been no movement, with the only new recruit able to break into the team being defender Siyanda Xulu.

Chiefs look likely to line up with Brilliant Khuzwayo in goal and a back four of Tsepo Masilela, Siyanda Xulu, Siboniso Gaxa and Kgotso Moleko. George Maluleka, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Siphiwe Tshabalala and George Lebese will form the midfield partnership while upfront Bernard Parker and David Zulu will be looking to bang in the goals for the Glamour Boys.

The voting polls for the competition closed last night and the final line-ups will be confirmed and announced later tonight after the votes have been officially audited during the course of the day.

Chiefs’ Preliminary CBL votes as of July 29:

Brilliant Khuzwayo (624359)

Bernard Parker (109024)

David Zulu (75072)

George Maluleka (99169)

Reneilwe Letsholonyane (68726)

Siphiwe Tshabalala (68627)

George Lebese (68381)

Tsepo Masilela (95048)

Siyanda Xulu (93832)
