Speaking to PUMA about his current scenario at home, ‘Tebza’ said, “The reason I am motivated, is that I am already preparing for next season… So I need to put in the work now. This period will pass soon.
“(I live by the phrase) ‘I don’t want to let my family down’, since all of them are looking up to me and also my background is my biggest push in my career.”
And is the midfield maestro learning anything new in this forced break? He says he is, adding, “My girlfriend is giving me some nice cooking lessons. I am also learning to speak Zulu and Xhosa. It’s been tough, yes, but I’ll get there!”
PUMA: How are you keeping in shape?
TM: I have gym equipment at home to work on strength conditioning.
P: What shoes do you train in?
TM: PUMA Hybrid Ozone, they are very comfortable. These are the kind of shoes I need to get the best out of my training program.
P: Do you use a training app?
TM: PUMATRAC is the best training app to use. I like upper body training focus by Justin Norris, it got me sweating.
P: Have you had to adjust your diet to maintain your “fighting” weight?
TM: No, I didn’t adjust my diet since I train every day.
P: Have your club, manager, agent been checking in?
TM: Yes, I have been in contact with my agent and the CEO of the team (Stan Matthews).
P: Types of TV shows you enjoy?
TM: I recently watched Power, I am not a series/movies kind of person. I enjoy watching football.
P: Any books you would recommend to fans?
TM: I’m only reading my school books, laying a foundation for life after football.
