The football fraternity is in mourning again, following the death of Botswana goalkeeper Wagarre Dikago.
Dikago has been on the books of Botswana top-flight club Township Rollers, having joined the club in 2017 from Extension Gunners FC.
In a statement issued by Rollers on the club’s official Facebook account, the Botswana outfit confirmed that the 26-year-old passed away on Saturday morning after he was involved in a car accident in September.

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing away of Township Rollers goalkeeper Wagarre "Waxy" Dikago.
He passed on this morning around 10 am owing to complications derived from a car accident he had unfortunately been involved in over a month ago, on Saturday, September 26.
The club had to wait for the family to alert the next of kin before they gave permission for this official confirmation.
Township Rollers Football Club management, staff, technical team, and his teammates offer our heartfelt condolences to the family and close friends. We pray for your comfort and strength.
