News reaching the Siya crew is that the divisions at Kaizer Chiefs due to a power struggle, are strained even further!
Amakhosi interim coach Arthur Zwane is in the running to land to hottest seat in South African football, as previously reported by the Siya crew, with Siya sources revealing that the Chiefs camp is divided on the appointment of a new coach for the upcoming season, with a struggle to find an agreement on who takes over at the helm.
With the end of the season in sight, the latest news coming out of the Village is that there are two camps, with one in favour of Arthur Zwane, while the other camp would prefer a more experienced coach to implement immediate change.
In addition, insiders have revealed a power struggle exists, where both camps are at a deadlock in determining whether senior players should be shown the exit door, as part of a rebuilding exercise, or whether a complete overhaul should take place at the Naturena-based side.
Sources close to the club have indicated that management will begin a series of meetings as soon as next week, to reflect on the season and discuss the futures of players.
Chiefs are expected to unveil Zitha Kwinika from Stellenbosch FC, and have made great strides in acquiring the services of Sekhukhune United midfielder Yusuf Maart, as well as Siyethemba Sithebe, whose imminent move to Naturena is on the cards from AmaZulu, as previously reported by the Siya crew.
