The appointment of coach Molefi Ntseki as the new head of technical and development at Kaizer Chiefs has created confusion, but a former player is fully support of the decision.
Amakhosi appointed the former Bafana Bafana coach to assist in rebuilding Chiefs and former star, Ntokozo Sikhakhane believes Ntseki has what it takes to revive Amakhosi's development structures.
"For me, I will say for development, it is a good appointment, because when you look at all age groups of national teams, he was involved and did extremely well, but unfortunately in the first team he didn't do well with Bafana Bafana," Sikhakhane tells the Siya cew.
"So people judge you with results, but knowing Chiefs culture of believing in youth and producing their own that plays their football, invest in them from Doctor Khumalo, Brian Baloyi, Jabu Pule, Junior Khanye, Itumeleng Khune and now the likes of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Njabulo Blom.
"So I think Ntseki will do well to reclaim those glory days from development. I also believe in luck so maybe he is meant to revive and succeed at Naturena. I wish to see him reclaim those glory days and promote exciting players again that will bring trophies," he added.
