Richards Bay FC boss Jomo Biyela has responded to the issue of the future of the club's coaching staff after the KZN-based outfit secured promotion to the DStv Premiership.
Biyela has assured fans that he has confidence in the ocoaching staff.
"The coaches will be part of the team but we can't say much for now, besides assuring that no-one in the technical team will leave."
"Richards Bay is well run, we take care of our players, better than some of the teams in the DStv Premiership. We are not rich or poor and we won't sell it because this team belongs to the community. It was formed through hardship after what happened to Thanda Royal Zulu. We don't have financial problems, it is not for sale."
Biyela revealed what he told the players before the final game.
"Before the game the players were told that R1.5 million is for them. I'm not saying that because of excitement," Biyela told the media.
With uMhlathuze sport complex still in s bad state, Biyela says they held meetings with the government, but Umlazi will remain their second home.
"We had a meeting with the municipality, our home vanue will be Richards Bay and the alternative will be King Zwelithini Stadium."
