A former Orlando Pirates official has compared his latest achievement to winning the league with the Soweto giants.
As he and his team in Tanzanian champions Simba are getting ready for this weekend’s FA Cup final, Senzo Mbatha has compared winning the league in his first season with the club to when he won the title with Pirates during his time as an administrator at the Soweto giants.

“Promoting Bay United to the PSL will remain one of my proudest achievements because this was a project that started from zero and manifested to a PSL club over a period of four years to be exact,” said Mbatha.

“However, you can’t take away winning the league – I have been part of a number of achievements in the league but in all honesty winning the league with the Mighty Buccaneers is a befitting comparison in the PSL,” the experienced administrator told the Siya crew.
