Richards Bay FC coach Pitso Dladla has commented on his future after leading the club to promotion to the DStv Premiership.
The Natal Rich Boyz joined AmaZulu FC, Lamontville Golden Arrows, Maritzburg United and Royal AM to the elite league of South African football and relieved Dladla, says they dedicate their win to all the people of KZN especially the district of King Cetshwayo.
"I couldn't sleep for days, my mind was no longer working proper. We needed this for the province, King Cetshwayo district and uMhlathuze municipality. The chairman always told us that we no longer represent ourselves but those people," Dladla told the media.
Dladla, responding about his future, says whatever decision the club will make, he will support it and won't put himself under unnecessary pressure.
"The way I was raised, I was told not to think about myself but to be selfless all the time. What is important for now is what is good for the team. It's not about me," Dladla said.
"Whatever decision the management makes, it will be the best for the club. If they bring in another coach, Iwill give him 100% support. Sometimes, we become too ambitious and struggle because the reality is that the DStv Premiership is not for everyone.
"'On the other hand, if given a chance, I will grab it with both hands because the support here is huge and it got us where we are.
"We haven't got time to discuss the future because the league was tight, so it wasn't easy to do so," added the coach.
