French star Kylian Mbappe has told Paris Saint-Germain he wants to leave next season, according to surprise reports.
The World Cup winner has long been linked with a switch to Real Madrid following his exploits for both club and country.
The Times are now reporting that Mbappe has informed the French giants that he is only willing to play one more season with the club, which would allow PSG to get a fee for the striker's services.
The report adds that the 21-year-old could be eying a move to the Premier League or LaLiga, with Los Blancos, FC Barcelona and Manchester United all said to be possible destinations.
There were claims earlier in the year that Mbappe was keen on a switch to Liverpool, especially after his remarks about Jurgen Klopp and the Reds.
"What Liverpool do in this moment is amazing," he said, as per the Sun.
"They’re like a machine, they’ve found a rhythm and are like ‘we play again, we play again’.
"When you watch you think everything’s easy, but that’s not easy.
"The guys are focused, they play games every three days and they win, they win, they win.
"To be as ruthless as they have been would come from lots of hard work in training and from having a very good manager."
