Benitez Comments As Bartlett Joins List Of Exits

South African youth international, Tyrique Bartlett, is on the hunt for a new club after leaving Newcastle United, and Rafa Benitez has wished the departing players well for their next steps.

The 20-year-old forward had a bad injury this season that required surgery, and although he got among the goals on his return earlier this year, it appears that his future now lies elsewhere as he searches for a new chapter in his career.

Bartlett’s name was among several young players that the Magpies will be parting ways with after the 2018/19 season came to an end, and he will no doubt be focused on making sure that he finalises his future as soon as possible so that he can make sure he starts the upcoming campaign in the best possible position.

According to Newcastle’s official website, Benítez said "I would like to say thank you to all the players leaving the club this summer… The players from the Academy have also given their best to the club over many years. We thank each of them and wish them good luck with the next step in their career."
