Euro Duo Consider Rantie Move
Two European clubs are believed to be weighing up the possibility of making a move for Bafana Bafana international, Tokelo Rantie, who is now available as a free agent.
According to Siya sources, both Getafe in Spain and KV Oostende in Belgium are considering the former Genclerbirligi man, despite the fact that he hasn’t played a game of competitive football since back in October 2017.
Rantie has spent the last few years plying his trade in Europe across the Swedish Allsvenskan, English Championship and Premier League, as well as the Turkish Super Lig, and will certainly be eager to get back out on the field after a lengthy absence over the course of 2018.
The Siya crew has been informed that the LaLiga and Pro League clubs are aware of the Bafana Bafana international’s current situation, and could potentially make a move for him ahead of the 2018/19 season.
Rantie, who will turn 28 in September, will be aided by the fact that – as a free agent – there is no transfer fee or time limit regarding his next move.
