AFC Bournemouth’s South African striker, Tokelo Rantie, could return to action for the club tonight after recovering from a shoulder injury that has kept him out.
The 24-year-old Bafana Bafana international hasn’t played for the Cherries since the 2015 African Cup of Nations, injuring his shoulder shortly after he returned to England.
However, the Siya crew has since been informed that he has now recovered from the injury, and could even return to Eddie Howe’s match day squad for tonight’s important clash with Nottingham Forest.
Having led the Championship table for so long, Bournemouth are now without a win in three games and have dropped to fourth place, and will be keen to get back to winning ways against Forest and move up to third.
Rantie, who is yet to fulfil his potential in England since moving from Malmo, will want to regain his form and his scoring touch between now and the end of the season as he attempts to help his club in their quest for promotion to the English Premier League.
