Reports: Swedish Interest In Bafana Bafana Striker
Swedish Interest In Bafana Bafana Striker
A Swedish club is believed to be showing interest in Bafana Bafana international, Tokelo Rantie, this according to reports coming out of Sweden.
Rantie is currently plying his trade for the Turkish side, Genclerbirligi in the first tier, however, has since fallen out of favour at the club.
According to Sydsvenskan, who have referenced Sportbladet in Sweden, IFK Goteborg is believed to be keen on adding the player to their books.
As reported last year by the Siya crew, there were talks of a possible new two-year deal on the cards for the player at the Turkish outfit, although, whether or not Rantie has put pen to paper, is yet to be confirmed.
However, it seems that another European outfit, Goteborg, is keen on snatching up the player, according to reports in Sweden.
Rantie’s contract with Genclerbirligi is set to expire at the end of the current 2017/18 campaign and it remains to be seen whether the player is set for a move away from the Turkish outfit in the current January transfer window or if he will see out his existing contract and move on a free at the end of his deal.
