A South African youngster is on course to making a name for himself overseas as he looks to further his career.
Following his start at Polokwane City, where his football skills were nurtured at the club’s academy, Ronald Madibi Mafunzwaini went on to further his career in the United States of America at the St. Benedict’s High School.
The 19-year-old Polokwane-born player has now signed with TJ Jiskra Usti nad Orlici FC in Czech Republic, as confirmed by his representative Isaac Moalosi.
“Ronald Madibi Mafunzwaini has just joined a team called TJ Jiskra Usti nad Orlici FC in Czech Republic. He has joined the club until the end of the season,” confirmed Moalosi.
“The club is a feeder team to Sportovni klub Slavia Praha, which is the team playing in top division of Czech Republic football. Sportovni klub Slavia Praha is the team that lost to Chelsea FC in UEFA Europa League last week. If Ronald does well next season he could find himself playing at the top level. In his first start for the team, they won 3-0 and he was involved in all the goals for the team,” added the representative.
