It has been reported that South African midfielder Bongani Zungu is among five Rangers players that have been slapped with a ban for breaking COVID-19 protocol last month.
Sky Sports has reported that Zungu, Nathan Patterson, Calvin Bassey, Brian Kinnear and Dapo Mebude have all been handed a six-match ban by the Scottish FA.
The story states that the players attended a hearing on 25 March after breaking COVID-19 protocols in Scotland, with all five of them having been caught at a house party early last month.

Four of the matches will be immediate and two games will be suspended until the end of the 2020/21 campaign, meaning the players will miss Rangers’ upcoming fixtures against Cove Rangers, Hibernian, St Johnstone and the Scottish Cup fourth round.
The 28-year-old, who is on loan from French Ligue 1 club Amiens, has made 21 appearances so far this season.
