Thulani Serero’s Ajax Amsterdam were held to a goalless draw by Feyenoord in a Dutch Eredivisie match at the Amsterdam Arena on Sunday.
Serero played the entire 90 minutes in the heart of the Ajax midfield, but was unable to inspire his side to victory.
The draw ends a run of two consecutive victories in the league for Ajax who are now placed second on the table with 43 points from 19 games.
Ajax are six points adrift of league leaders PSV who beat Cambuur 2-1 on Saturday.
Ajax are in action again next week Sunday in an Eredivisie match away to Vitesse who are currently placed 12th on the table.
