Shabba Sends Message To His Haters…
Siphiwe Tshabalala Spoke To Soccer Laduma This Week
Siphiwe Tshabalala is silencing so many of his critics as he embarks on a late adventure into Europe, and the former Kaizer Chiefs man says ‘there will always be haters’.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma this week, the veteran midfield maestro opened up on his move to Turkey with Erzurumspor, discussing how the move came about and what he said to Kaizer Motaung as his long stint at Naturena drew to an end.
‘Shabba’, who is known for his professionalism and work ethic, is understandably thankful to have been given the opportunity to play overseas at the age of 33 – he turns 34 this month – and he certainly knows who to thank for it.
Speaking in issue 1090 of Soccer Laduma, the ex-Bafana Bafana international said, “Some people love you, they support you, you understand? They follow you, but there will always be haters. That’s life and that’s how life is, you understand? Some people will write you off and then God will show up – when He shows up, He shows off. UNkulunkulu (God) showed that He’s not done with me so, with regards to this move, it took 10-12 years for it to finally happen, so it is a lesson to abantu (people) to say, “Don’t stop dreaming and that a dream doesn’t have an expiry date.”
