R8.3m Price Tag Slapped On Bafana Striker
Cypriot Premier League outfit, Anorthosis Famagusta, have slapped an R8.3m (€500,000) price tag on the head of in-demand striker, Dino Ndlovu.
The 26-year-old Bafana Bafana international scored 18 goals in all competitions during his first season back in Europe after leaving SuperSport United, making a name for himself by finishing as the club’s top scorer.
Now, with clubs chasing his signature, the Siya crew can confirm that Anorthosis have exercised their two-year option on the former Mpumalanga Black Aces man, although do intend to try and cash in on him if possible.
The crew has previously reported that the burly striker is a wanted man in Europe with interest coming from Poland, Turkey and the Czech Republic, and that they could lose him for free if they didn’t exercise their option by May 31st.
It has since been confirmed to the crew that Anorthosis did take their two-year option, seeing Ndlovu through until 2018, but that they will be willing to accept any bid of €500k upwards in return for his signature.
