The league win was orchestrated by Swiss coach Rene Weiler, who managed to win the Egyptian League but it was Mosimane who added gloss to it by going undefeated in the final four matches as the African Club of the Century lifted yet another league title.
For Mosimane, it was simply picking up where he left off with Mamelodi Sundowns last season, after leading the Brazilians to an impressive treble, which included the much publicized ‘La Decima’.
While he prepares his troops for battle against a foe he knows all too well in Zamalek, the 56-year-old stole an opportunity to reflect the success that has been the last month or so of his career.
Taking to social media, Mosimane shared images of himself alongside the Egyptian League trophy, and another where his technical team made up of performance analyst, Musi Matlaba and fitness trainer Kabelo Rangoaga as well as assistant coach Cavin Johnson.
