The 24-year-old attacker completed a season-long loan move to RUSG earlier in the week due to the fact that he won't qualify for a work permit in England and can therefore not play for his new club, Brighton & Hove Albion.

It was reported several weeks ago by the Siya crew that RUSG were his likely destination due to the fact that the two clubs are owned by the same man, Tony Bloom, and they moved quickly to get him registered once the loan had been completed.

Tau was a second half substitute for the side as he came on in the 65th minute when they were leading 1-0, helping them see out the game with an eventual 3-1 victory thanks to a hattrick from Youssouf Niakaté.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns man will now be looking to work his way into the starting XI for Friday night's clash with Beerschot-Wilrijk as he targets his first goal in European football.
