The former Mamelodi Sundowns player who is now Belgium has inspired kids at the ambitious KZN Football Academy, an academy that has been exporting players to overseas clubs in recent months.
“The KZN Football Academy under 11's were able to meet their hero Percy Tau who scored a great equalizer against Paraguay for our National team. By exposing our young players to special role models is as important as what the players go through on a training field. Thank you Percy,” tweeted the KZN Football Academy.
Some of the young players that have been exported from the academy to clubs in Portugal in recent times include Swelihle Mthiyane, Nkanyiso Shinga, Philani Jaca and Sphephelo Sithole.
