Tau Seen Training At New Club

Percy Tau Has Started Training With Royale Union Saint-Gilloise

By Joe Crann - Aug 09, 2018 12:06 PM @YesWeCrann

Percy Tau looks to be edging closer to his next move, with the South African having been seen training with a new club.

The Siya crew reported earlier this week that the 24-year-old had flown into Belgium to assess the facilities at Royale Union Saint-Gilloise ahead of a possible move, and it has now been revealed that he has started training with the club.

RUSG are owned by the same man - Tony Bloom - that owns Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League, and the crew has long since reported that the Belgians were keen for Tau to come on board to try and help them gain promotion back into Belgium's top-flight.

While it remains to be seen whether a move has actually been finalised or not, a picture of the former Mamelodi Sundowns man training with RUSG yesterday has been posted on the club's official Facebook account, and the player himself will no doubt be eager to get playing as soon as possible.

The post has since been deleted.

This training facility looks like some deserted piece of land along some farm somewhere. Unless Tau is trying to expropriate land somewhere without compensation.

People need to understand that the one of the reasons he is transferred there might be because no Mzansi player can just go to epl and play there, maybe a few with their citizenship, like abo Furman. Until bafana ends up in a respectable ranking this will always remain the case. I blame cowditor with his info-less articles which are designed to start arguments instead of building supporters football knowledge

@Breezy@1985, I think some players do get that.. even more still. If Tau gets paid 35k per week that means it's 140k per month. Don't we have players that get more than that in the psl?

He should have refused being loaned and forced to stay at Albion until he gets his chances

Eish, and there is only one farmer's boy watching by the fence. It seems like Brighton wants Tau to gain more experience and to settle well before heading to the EPL. And that could be next season. But my question is one; what if Brighton gets relegated at the end of 2018/19 season? Well this will mean that Tau will be playing in England's second division. Yah ne.

What is so special about overseas? Our best players leave PSL for overseas and become no-name brand from Pick 'n Pay. Thulani Serero won big on his last season he went abroad to become no name, samething happened to Manyama now it's Tau when will our players learn to appreciate our league and stop settling for less.

no wonder the clip was deleted, it's sad to see one of S.A's best exports training on white mans farm somewhere in Europe.it could've been better had u stayed in your native league where you're respected & appreciated.Brighton are putting ypu on that farm as a trial period in order for u to prove that you are good enough to play in the EPL which all s**t to me.best you come back home before they send you from one farm to another until the end of your contract than playing on some peoples farms where they're supposed to be growing food.wena ayakwini? Come back to Sundowns.
