In-Form Tau Lifts Lid On Brugge Start

In-form South African attacker, Percy Tau, has spoken about his impressive start with Club Brugge in Belgium after he scored another goal for the club yesterday.

Tau, 25, came on in the second half of Brugge’s clash with KV Oostende on Saturday, and didn’t waste any time in getting on the scoresheet once again as he doubled their lead in the 2-0 victory that saw them end the day on top of the Belgian top-flight.
The Bafana Bafana international now has two goals in two league games since arriving back in Belgium this season, and he has explained that he’s just trying to do what the coach, Philippe Clement, wants from him.
Speaking to the club’s official website after Brugge made it nine points from nine, Tau said, “We really wanted to win against KV Oostende, and thanks to a strong collective performance, we succeeded. Of course, I am also happy with my goal. I often asked the ball to create extra space in possession of the ball and to create offensive danger between the lines.
“Last season I played soccer at Union in 1B and it still requires some adjustment at Club to get used to certain automatisms, but my teammates and coach help me well with this. I do my utmost to do what the coach expects from me.”
Next up for Tau and his teammates is a tough trip to Ukraine to face Dynamo Kyiv on Tuesday, with the club looking to build on their 1-0 win in the home leg of the tie last week.
