Percy Tau went head-to-head with former Kaizer Chiefs striker Knowledge Musona as Anderlecht dropped points at home to AS Eupen.
Tau got his fourth straight start after a bright display in Anderlecht's 4-2 victory over Waasland-Beveren last weekend, while former Chiefs striker Musona was included in the starting line-up for the visitors.
Vincent Kompany's charges were creating chances early on as Jeremy Doku came close to snatching the lead in the 20th minute with a threatening strike from outside the box that was saved by goalkeeper Ortwin De Wolf.
Chances were hard to come by for either side in the latter phase of the first stanza but Musona had an opportunity to break the deadlock for the visitors on the stroke of half-time but his strike from outside the box missed just wide.
The game was opening up in the early stages of the second stanza, which saw Albert Lokonga break the deadlock for Anderlecht with a cracking strike from the edge of the box into the top corner after he was teed up Doku.
The match was on the edge in the closing phase but Julien Ngoy snatched the equaliser for Eupen in the last minute with a strike into the bottom corner as the sides settled for a share of the spoils.
As a result, Anderlecht dropped to fourth on the log, although they remain unbeaten while Eupen went up to 12th.
