It was reported last month that the 25-year-old will spend the 2019/2020 season out on loan once again due to work permit obstacles.
The midfielder joined Brighton and Hove Albion from Mamelodi Sundowns last year but was loaned out to Belgian second division side Union Saint-Gillois.
Siya sources have now heard that top flight outfit Royal Antwerp are interested in the former Mamelodi Sundowns man, who registered 13 goals and 13 assists across all competitions in Belgium last season.
Antwerp finished sixth in the regular season, but went on to secure fourth spot in the play-offs and will now be involved in the UEFA Europa second-round qualifiers.
However, With Tau currently on Bafana Bafana duty at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, it's unlikely that anything will get done until South Africa's campaign is over.
