Overseas-based striker Ryan Moon has set his next target after a successful first season in Europe.
The former Kaizer Chiefs striker finished his first season with Swedish outfit Vabergs BolS with seven goals in 25 appearances for the club and is looking to score more goals going forward.
“I would definitely like to score more and challenge for the top scorer award I think every attacker wants to achieve that,” the 25-year-old told the Siya crew.
“My hopes are to continue from where I left off and play as many games as possible overseas.”
Moon was more than happy with the amount of game time he got in his first season, which can be sometimes difficult for players who are playing in Europe for the first time. Previously there have been some South African players who had to wait before getting regular game time, but Moon was able to hit the ground running in his debut campaign abroad.
“It was lots of game time and understanding what the coaches and players demand from you every week. And just enjoying the moment.”
