South Africa under-23 midfielder Thabo Cele has officially been unveiled at his new club.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, Cele had penned a deal with Polish Ekstraklasa outfit Radomiak Radom who had pipped Kaizer Chiefs to the sought-after midfielder’s signature.
In a brief statement released on the club’s official website, it was confirmed that Cele had signed a two-year deal, which included an option for a further year.
“Thabo Cele in Radomiak!
“24-year-old Thabo Cele has signed a contract with Radomiak Radom! The contract with the South African midfielder will last until the end of the 2022/2023 season with an option to extend it for one year,” the statement read in part.
Cele had been training with the Polish outfit for a number of weeks and was set to pen a deal last month, although it fell through as the two parties could not come to a financial agreement at the time.
The KZN Academy product could make his debut for the club as early as next Monday with 11th placed Radomiak set to take on Jagiellonia in a league clash.
