South African international midfielder May Mahlangu is back in the country and the reason for his return has since been revealed.
Mahlangu has been on the books of Ordabasy Shymkent in the Kazakhstan Premier League since February 2019, where he was first on loan from Bulgarian club, Ludogorets Razgrad and last year, joined the side permanently.

The Secunda-born player has featured regularly and is enjoying his career in Kazakhstan, as confirmed by his mentor and Stars of Africa Football Academy director Farouk Khan.
There are no plans as yet for the 31-year-old to return to Mzansi for football, despite currently training with the academy.
Khan has confirmed that Mahlangu is only in the country due to the disruptions caused by the Coronavirus pandemic in most leagues around the world.

“No, he has just come back due to the whole Covid-19 disruptions in their league. So, he has come to share his experiences with the youngsters in the academy and just to motivate them. So, it’s more about him coming back to where he started and will be going back,” said Khan.
