May Mahlangu made his UEFA Europa League debut for Ludogorets last night as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Zurich.
Mahlangu tallied 26 UEFA appearances last night, having featured in 11 Europa League qualifying matches, 9 official Europa League matches and six UEFA Champions League qualifying fixtures.
The 29-year-old came on last night in the second half, although playing just 11 minutes in the encounter.
Mahlangu joined Ludogorets in the July/August transfer window from Romanian-side, Dinamo Bukarest, having spent the majority of his professional football career plying his trade in Europe.
The midfielder has won five trophies so far throughout his career, having lifted the Swedish Cup twice, in 2010 and 2011, and Swedish Super Cup in 2011 and 2012 and the Swedish championship in 2011 all during his time with Helsingborgs IF.
However, at this point in time, Mahlangu has made nine appearances in all competitions for Bulgarian-side, Ludogorets, who are currently second placed on the Parva Liga standings.
