The 29-year-old, who was banned from playing for Bafana Bafana after a fallout with SAFA back in 2014, has continued to build a successful career for himself in Europe, performing well for Dinamo Bucuresti before recently landing himself a switch to the Bulgarian outfit with whom he is now playing.
Mahlangu is said to have signed a long-term deal with Ludogorets that will run through until 2021, and it has now been revealed that the midfield man has been registered by his club for this year's UEL group stages, where they will face Bayer Leverkusen, FC Zurich and AEK Larnaca.
The former Helsingborgs man is yet to play a game for his new employers since completing a move, but it is now thought that he could make his debut on Friday when they come up against Vereya as league action returns.
Ludogorets will then face Leverkusen next Thursday as their UEL group gets underway, and Mahlangu will be itching to get back playing continental football again, after having played in the competition last season with Dinamo.
