Things just keep getting better for young South African attacker, Kurt Abrahams, who has now directly contributed to 10 goals in Belgium in his best season to date…
The 23-year-old scored his eighth goal of the season over the weekend as his side, Westerlo, fought with 10-men to secure a 1-1 draw with RE Virton, keeping alive their hopes of earning promotion into the Belgian top-flight.
With his eight goals and two assists, Abrahams has established himself as an integral part of the setup in the Proximus League in 2019/20, and has already beaten his goal return of seven goals in all competitions last time out. Three more assists and he will beat his creation tally, too.
Abrahams has started every game in all competitions for his side so far in 2019/20, and will be hoping to keep up his form in the coming months as they seek to enter into the promotion play-offs next year for a spot in the Jupiler Pro League for 2020/21.
