KK’s Portuguese Move Confirmed!
Talented South African youth international, Kobamelo Kodisang, has concluded a move to Portugal as Bidvest Wits allowed him to go to Europe on loan for the season.
The Siya crew reported earlier this month that the 19-year-old attacker had attracted interest from Portugal, though at the time the club remained unnamed and it remained to be seen if a deal would go through.
Now though, it has been confirmed by AD Sanjoanense that they have snapped up Kodisang on a one-year deal, with the player having already made his debut in a 1-0 win over Cinfães in the Campeonato de Portugal.
After six games, Kodisang’s new side are third on the table as they push towards promotion, and they will certainly be hoping that the acquisition of the talented teen can help propel them up into the Segunda Liga for 2018/19.
Despite his young age, ‘KK’ already has over 30 senior appearances to his name at Platinum Stars and Wits, and will now be eager to impress after being given his chance to make a name for himself in Portugal.
