South African striker Tokelo Rantie came off the bench in Bournemouth’s 1-1 home draw against 10-man Watford at the Dean Court Ground. Lewis Grabban scored a 62nd minute penalty to snatch a point for Rantie’s side. Watford took the lead through a Gabriele Angella bullet header, which flew past Camp in the Bournemouth goal from McGugan free-kick in the 45th minute. Grabban should have sealed the win for the Cherries but his second penalty of the game was saved by Manuel Almunia to keep the scores level.
Bongani Khumalo played 90 minutes and Dean Furman was a second half substitute in Doncaster Rovers 3-0 win over Wigan Athletic at the Keepmoat Stadium. A brace by Chris Brown and a solitary goal by James Coppinger was enough to earn s vital home win for Doncaster and end Wigan’s eight game unbeaten run.
Kgosi Ntlhe was called into action in the second-half of Peterborough’s 3-0 victory at London Road Ground. Peterborough’s Britt Assombalonga opened the scoring with a fifth minute penalty before Nicholas Ajose grabbed his side’s second. Assombalonga then rounded off his double with three minutes remaining to wrap up a comfortable victory for his side.
Kamohelo Mokotjo played the full game as his PEC Zwolle went down 2-1 at the hands of Vitesse Arnhem. Christian Atsu gave the visitors a 3rd minute lead at the Ijsseldelta Stadium before Guyon Fernandez equalised with 10 minutes on the clock. Patrick Van Aanholt then snatched a 90th minute winner for Arnhem leaving no time for Zwolle to respond.
